HairKnowHow carefully measures and cuts your client's hair sample into discrete known lengths. Capturing fibre data up to ~one year into the past in ~4.5 monthly time intervals. Highly magnified, high-resolution images of the cuticle are then taken.

• Eight images of your client's cuticle layer. Two images at four different fibre lengths.

Sectioning the hair sample into known lengths prior to cuticle imaging allows for changes in the cuticle layer or in its presentation due to the onset of hair shaft cuticle abnormality. Essentially the trichologist can use these known lengths to identify when approximately a change occurred within the client's hair sample to help pinpoint potential causes, whether in response to environmental, hormonal changes, stress or positive changes due to clinical treatment.
